ERIN.exe 

ERIN.exe was an app design that combined dating apps with chatbots, for people who were both bored with loneliness and socially inept. The entire app project was crafted along advertisements, mock-ups, descriptions, and sales-pitches. Its logo was animated as a gif, and designed based on a combination of dating app logos and popular style choices for an appearance of generalized and gender-ambigious cuteness.

Animated Logo

The ERIN.exe was animated partially animated for use in the app, allowing it to express various emotions when interacted with, better emulating a (fictitious) romantic partner.

 

Apparel Design

The logo could be applied further to functional apparel for men and women, unlike similar app-icons. Erin’s relationship as an artificial boyfriend / girlfriend was not restricted by gender.
